UNVEIL - to remove a veil or covering from; to disclose; to reveal oneself
I have pretty much lived a life in the closet - showing people on the outside that everything is okay with Leslie. In reality, it hasn't been. I've gone through several instances of depression, weight gain, low self-esteem, anger, and even had suicidal thoughts during my high school years.
This year, I decided that I was going to start really taking care of me - my mind, body, and soul. I'm still on this journey, and I will use this blog to share it with you.
What is my goal?
To Live Unveiled, and to encourage others to Live Unveiled. In the simplest words, this means to go through, remove the cover, and disclose myself to the world. I have fitness goals, mental goals, and spiritual goals; they will not be met without a little pain to endure. It's time for the biggest transformation of my life - and you can experience it too.
